Avaya Solutions Engineer

Cerium Networks is seeking a qualified Avaya Systems Engineer.

Due to customer demand and growth, Cerium Networks is seeking an experienced and dedicated Avaya Systems Engineer to join our Bothell, WA. team.  Candidate must be a self starter and effectively interact with customers, account managers, staff and management. Position requires independence and accountability as well as a cooperative effort.  The ideal candidate would be a reliable, bright, articulate, professional and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast paced professional and performance oriented environment.

The Engineer will be focused on the software programming, installation and support of the following systems solutions;

Technical Skills and Experience:

  • Avaya Aura Communications Manager
  • Avaya Session Manager
  • Avaya System Manager
  • Avaya Server / Gateway Architecture
  • Avaya Messaging (Aura Messaging, MM, Intuity)
  • ARS
  • Microsoft Active Directory
  • Windows Server administration, implementation and support
  • Network Infrastructure
  • DNS/DHCP
  • SIP

Preferred Experience / Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of Avaya solution implementation and experience
  • 4 year degree
  • ACS, ACSS or ACE preferred
  • Network and communications systems trouble shooting experience
  • Experience with Cisco VoIP or MS Lync a plus
  • Excellent analytical ability and communications skills
  • Interpersonal relationship skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Customer service skills and experience
  • Strong organization abilities
