CMS Technical Backbone Engineer

Full-Time Virtual Office

Must have knowledge of the following:

CMS Backbone Support including

  • Network Printers
  • Clan and ProcR connectivity for CMS – Must know the CMS side and the PBX Side
    • CM Node Names
    • CM Comm Proc
    • CM MIS

CMS Networking and port additions.

  • Route add
  • Shell Scripting
  • VI
  • Etc/hosts
  • Etc/Services
  • NIC Administration
  • Inteadm port additions

Working knowledge of SAL and Backup administration

  • NIU
  • Timetables
  • Tivoli
  • Crontab

Working knowledge of CMS Migrations

  • Tape to Tape
  • RSH copy
  • Complex integration experience preferred.

Qualified applicant should also possess:

  • Must be a self starter, possessing strong organization and planning skills. 
  • Must be able to provide project plans, site prep checklists and root cause analysis documentation.
  • Must be able to participate in project calls and provide adequate documentation.
  • Knowledge of Avaya IQ – cursory level only with ability to learn and train.
