Avaya Communication Manager - Basic System Administration This course provides training on how to perform basic administration functions using Avaya Communication Manager (Definity). The course includes lecture sessions explaining the various features and functions, plus hands-on activities to develop skills in using the administration tools available with Communication Manager.

CMS and Vectors This course provides an introduction to CMS Supervisor. It is designed to educate contact center supervisors on how the system operates, what their reporting options are and, how to locate and run reports in order to manage the contact center efficiently and effectively. This course covers areas such as reporting and agent skills administration. It explores the back-end of CMS administration, including back-ups, terminal administration and setting up new supervisor logins. It also introduces attendees to the understanding and writing of vectors.

What is your Avaya Switch Telling You - A Deep Dive into Switch Reports Do you know how many calls are going through your system during the day? What about peak hours? Any idea how many calls are hitting your trunks? Are you perhaps missing the Call Detail Recording (CDR) solution? Well even though you don´t have a dedicated application to gather historical data you can still get some useful data from the Avaya Communication Manager (ACM) by issuing few simple commands in the Avaya Site Administration (ASA) tool. Exchange 2010 Bootcamp Design, Configure, and Manage
This is a combination of courses 10135 Configuring, Managing and Troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 and 10233 Designing and Deploying Messaging Solutions with Microsoft Exchange Server 2010. This intensive five-day, instructor-led course will provide you with the knowledge and skills to design, deploy, configure and manage an Exchange Server 2010 messaging environment. This course does not require previous Exchange Server experience, but does require that students have significant experience in managing Windows Server and Active Directory directory services or Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS). This course discusses how to design various features of Mailbox, Hub Transport, and Client Access server roles. Some features that are discussed include message transport, security, high availability, disaster recovery, upgrades. In addition, this course will teach you how to configure Exchange Server 2010, as well as provide guidelines, best practices, and considerations that will help you optimize your Exchange Server deployment.

There are two main reasons for the course. Firstly, this course supports the large numbers of customers still running Exchange 2003 or Exchange 2007 in upgrading their skills and environments to Exchange 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and to help drive that adoption. Secondly, this course fills in a skills gap that currently exists in the portfolio and, while the content is not driven by the exam ODs, provide further support for the exams.

The course also provides details on how to manage a server virtualization environment by using System Center products such as System Center Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) 2008, SCVMM 2008 R2, System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2, System Center Data Protection Manager 2007 R2, and System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2. This course does not require previous server virtualization experience, but does require that students have significant experience in managing Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2.
